Kathryn & Derad
Some weddings ask guests to travel. Others invite them to experience a place.
For Kathryn and Derad, Venissa was the perfect setting for both. After a weekend spent wandering through Venice, their guests arrived on the quiet island of Mazzorbo to celebrate among vineyards, gardens, and the stillness of the Venetian lagoon. With just 30 people gathered around one table, the day unfolded slowly, guided by exceptional food, thoughtful details, and the kind of atmosphere that only comes from keeping things intentionally small.
From lagoon-inspired florals and warm earthy tones to a custom light installation suspended above the dinner table like a gentle wave, every element felt connected to its surroundings. The result was a celebration that captured the essence of Venice beyond the obvious: intimate, understated, and deeply meaningful.
